European Adventure Series: Where We Go!
European travel evokes visions of the Colosseum in Rome, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the gondolas of Venice, and the Acropolis in Athens. Thoughts of strolling through lush gardens, eating at local sidewalk cafes, enjoying the local wines, and experiencing the slow, relaxed living of this incredible region draw many to visit. What you may not know is that chartering in Europe is an experience unlike other places.
Chartering in Europe is a beautiful combination of relaxation, history, culture, and an incredible culinary experience! Whether you’re looking to visit some of the most popular destinations- or take a route that’s off the beaten track…you’ll find incredible architecture and historical sites everywhere you turn. UNESCO world heritage sites are plentiful here- Greece and Croatia have many of these famed landmarks and Italy boasts the most of any country worldwide.
And, of course, the yachts still have all the water toys that keep you active! Whether it’s kayaking along a quiet coastline, taking out the SUP for a paddle in a cove, or the high adrenaline sports of water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing, yachts in Europe have it all.
The summer sailing season begins in early May and extends into late October with the busiest months being July and August. If you have the option- May, June, September, and October are great times to visit and are less crowded than July and August…there are also substantial differences in price during these times.
Mandy and I have recently launched several pages on our website for Greece, Croatia, and Italy- and we’re updating continually. There are so many options and itineraries…if you have a place in mind, contact us and we’ll find the perfect option for your family or group.
To get you dreaming- and then planning…take a look at our website for fabulous charter ideas in Europe. Over the next several weeks, I'll post country specific blogs to give you a glimpse of life in each area. As I live here in France on the border of Italy, I’d love to help plan your adventure and get you out exploring this part of the world!
It’s time for a visit…
